There are effective, tried and tested ways to get an instant glowing skin naturally, just at home and just within the time we have to spare.
If you are wondering why to take trouble by going for a fruit facial when you get other facial packs that suggest an instant application, here’s your answer. The best and most harmless results are always obtained from natural sources. Most fruits are very rich in vitamins, minerals, and many essential nutrients like beta carotene, potassium, magnesium iron, etc which help in keeping the skin young and nourished. Fruits are also one of the rich sources of antioxidants which altogether do a whole lot of good for the skin helping us to keep it supple, soft, glowing and most importantly healthy!
Jumping to the topic, before applying the face mask, there are a few ground rules to be followed. These are the ones that help you go the extra mile by prepping your skin to absorb the nutrients in a wholesome and most effective manner.
Cleansing and Scrubbing
Always start by cleansing the skin. Removing impurities from the skin is very important before applying the fruit mask. To do that, mix one tablespoon of lime juice with milk/water and add a pinch of salt and sugar. Take this mixture in the tips of your fingers and gently rub it on the face in an upward circular motion. Steam to open up pores

Take two tomatoes and two peaches and mash them. Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice to it, mix well and refrigerate it for 10 minutes.
Now, take the tomato paste out of the refrigerator and add 1 tbsp of honey to it. Mix well and apply the paste on your face and neck with your fingers. Leave it on for about 20 minutes.
Remove it off with lukewarm water and pat dry. It gives an instant glow and eventually brightens skin. This method suits best for oily skin.

Method 2: Avocado face mask
Avocados are well known for their ability to give a beautiful glowing skin. It can be taken internally in the form of juice n also applied externally. Take 2 avocados and peel the skin. Mash them to a pulp in a bowl with a fork. Add 1 tbsp of honey, a pinch of salt and some warm water to make a fine paste.
Apply this avocado fruit pack on your face and wash away after 20 minutes.
Method 3: Strawberry and cherry facial mask
Strawberry and cherries are rich sources of vitamin C and A, antioxidants and vital minerals. This will be a great fruit facial mask for anti-aging and glowing skin.
Take 1/2 cup of strawberries and 1/2 cup cherries, put them in a food processor and make a fine paste. Add 1 tbsp of honey to it and mix well. Now apply this fruit facial mask all over the face and neck. Let it sit for 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.
Method 4: Apple, honey, and almond
Soak few almonds overnight, peel them and keep aside. Take a fresh apple and cut it into small cubes, put it in a food processor, add the soaked and peeled almonds and make a fine paste. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey and mix well. Now apply it all over the face and neck.
Wash it off after 20 minutes. Pat dry. This method helps rejuvenate the skin, lighten the skin tone and give a natural glow.
Method 5: Kiwi and mashed banana fruit facial pack
Kiwi consists of vitamin C, E, and K that enhances the collagen formation and replenishes our skin full of antioxidants. The black seeds of kiwi contain fatty acids and omega 3 oils. This pack is very effective in making the skin look young. It also helps in brightening dull skin.
Peel chop and mash kiwi and add mashed banana to it in equal parts. Mix it well and apply the paste to your face and neck. You can also add 1 tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of lime juice to it. Wash away after 20 minutes.

Method 6: Banana oats and rose water pack
Banana is rich in zinc, iron, potassium magnesium, vitamin A, B, and E as well. Banana acts as one of the best anti-aging elements.
Mix together mashed banana, 2 tablespoons of oat flour and 1 tablespoon of rose water. Blend all the ingredients carefully to a smooth paste and then apply it on your neck and face. Wipe off this mask using a damp washcloth or a wet wipe after about 15 to 20 minutes and afterward wash off the remnants of the mask using lukewarm water. Method 7: Apple, jojoba oil and green tea pack

Peel and mash 2 apples, add a teaspoon of jojoba essential oil and add a teaspoon of green tea (enough amount to create a creamy texture). Mix the mashed apples with the jojoba oil and slowly add the green tea granules/leaves. Now, apply the paste on your face and keep on for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, rinse it off using warm water. For oily skin, Peel and grate an apple and add one egg yolk to it. Mash it well and apply the paste on your face. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and after 10 minutes, rinse it off using warm water.
Method 8: Pineapple and olive oil pack
Pineapple consists of enzymes that help our skin in getting rid of the dead skin cells and also aids in cleansing it from impurities. Olive oil in this mask adds vitamin E. Olive oil has immense moisturizing elements and healing powers that prove best for the skin. Hence, this is also one of the effective fruit face masks Take 3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil and add 2 teaspoons chopped pineapple. Blend the ingredients with the help of a blender or food processor and then apply the paste on the face. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. After 15-20 minutes, rinse the mask off with warm water and pat dry. This mask will remove the dead skin cells off of your skin, enhance, moisturizer and give an even lighter skin complexion. Method 9: Papaya,orange and lemon juice pack
Take 3 slices of papaya, 2 tablespoons of fresh orange juice and 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Put all these ingredients in a food processor and blend them into a smooth silky paste. Spread this paste gently and equally using your fingertips on clean, dry face and neck. Relax and keep the mask on for about 15 minutes. Post 15 minutes, wash it off using lukewarm water, pat the skin dry using a clean towel or tissue. Finally apply a nice moisturizer, in order to seal the pores in the skin to lock the water inside.

Method 10: Honey, banana, fresh cream mask
Honey is known as a ‘humectant’. It is known to naturally hold moisture inside, trapped under the skin, definitely where it belongs. Take half a banana, half a tablespoon of half and half cream or fresh cream, half a tablespoon of organic honey and one tablespoon of fresh orange juice. Warm up the honey till it reaches a little watery consistency.
Then, mash the banana to a pulp and add the orange juice, honey, and cream. Blend it into a uniform and smooth mixture substance. Gently spread this mask across the face and neck equally using your fingertips. Relax and keep the mask on for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, wash the mask off using alternately cold and warm water.
Finally, finish it off with one splash of ice-cold water. Pat the skin dry using a clean dry towel. To seal the pores, apply a moisturizer, which helps you to lock the moisture inside. Add the papaya, mango, and honey in a food processor and mash them together. Blend it into one smooth silky uniform paste. Apply this mask gently and evenly using your fingertips in a circular motion. Keep the mask on for about 15-20 minutes. Post 20 Minutes, wash it off using lukewarm water and pat the skin dry using a clean dry towel.
One standing instruction after the removal of the mask is to moisturize and tone the skin.
Toning and moisturizing
Toning helps in closing the open pores and locking the moisture. You can either take some cucumber juice mixed with a few drops of lemon juice and apply it and wash it off after 10 mins to tone your skin or simply just take a cotton ball, dip it in rose water and apply on your face. This leaves your skin highly moisturized, soft and supple.
